May 19, 2006Napster Free?
May 9, 2006Well, it looks like it is true. Napster is offering the first five plays of any song in the library free. 10 million plays free of charge. Gotta love that.
Ken speaks!
May 1, 2006Just as a follow-up, Ken Schram of local radio and television fame, has given a commentary on the SPU "May Madness" topic.
“May Madness” Rally
April 28, 2006So, the “may madness” rally took place today on SPU campus today in Martin Square. The view from my office (via webcam) yielded a crowd of around 300. I wholly support that women not be treated as objects and that there is a very special regard in which men should hold women (espcially in a marriage). I am glad that people do feel like they can speak up and bring something, that was no doubt meant in fun, to the forefront that they believe is wrong (albeit a tad overzealous).
The point that I hope doesn’t get lost in this is that people who don’t want information about them posted on someone’s website shouldn’t post it on their own. Even if the website is a social networking site like myspace or facebook. I hope that those that were the “contestants” in the may madness contest realize that if they hadn’t posted their pictures in a virtually public arena, there wouldn’t have been a may madness site. Now I don’t blame the women involved. I just wanted to point out the importance of protecting information and identity in today’s age.
My First Post
April 26, 2006Well, I thought I would start a blog of random posts and see where this leads. Possibly it will be interesting. It may possilby be a bomb; only time will tell.
